This term, Mars have been settling into new routines, staff and rooms. They have been focusing on personalised activities and interactive lessons such as guided reading stories, Attention Autism, outdoor learning, and sensory play.

Rockets Class have been exploring the Forest Schools area, which is also part of the pupils' playground. The pupils spend lots of time outside, exploring and discovering the natural environment.

Mercury Class have focused on plants in Science this term, exploring different parts such as roots, stems, leaves, and seeds. Pupils had the opportunity to taste a variety of fruits and vegetables, including apples, celery, and cucumbers. They then examined the items using various tools and microscopes to take a closer look.

Galaxies have done an amazing job settling in this year. We have been having lots of fun exploring our current topic, "Humans," and learning how to keep the body healthy. The class has been sorting healthy and unhealthy foods, enjoying Forest School, and taking part in exercise activities during PE.

Comets Class have been reading the story Mrs Pirate in their reading lessons this term. Pupils have engaged with a range of resources from the story and used communication boards to comment on what they could see.
