Sing and Sign

During our sing and sign sessions at school, pupils in the 14–19 department take turns choosing which songs they would like to practise using our song choices book, giving everyone a chance to lead and get involved. Staff teach the pupils both the songs and the accompanying Makaton signs, and they perform using both together. Pupils also enjoy taking their performances out into the community, including yearly visits to Touchwood at Christmas. Their hard work and enthusiasm have paid off, as they are the current Christmas Choir Competition champions!
