Rainbows Class were visited by West Midlands Police as part of our My Future lessons, where we have been learning about people who help us in the community. The pupils were excited to explore the police car and were even allowed to look at the blue lights up close.

In Sunshines, we have been learning all about life skills in My Future. Our recent focus has been on washing and understanding how to look after ourselves independently. Today, the pupils practised brushing their teeth, taking turns to follow each step and build confidence in their personal hygiene routines.

Shooting Stars Class are learning about 2D shapes in Maths. They have been exploring square-shaped objects and recreating the shape using lolly sticks, as well as making square imprints in playdough. Pupils have also been taking part in a range of sensory experiences during their weekly art activities and for Children in Need day. Paint and glitter are regular features in our classroom as the pupils learn to create their own artwork using a variety of techniques.

Planets Class have been having lots of fun mark making on the light-up writing boards using chalk pens. Pupils have enjoyed exploring different colours and patterns, creating bright and engaging designs as they practise their writing and drawing skills

Yesterday we were absolutely delighted to take delivery of our wonderful new minibus, kindly donated by Variety the Children's Charity of Great Britain , the Children's Charity, and sponsored by DPD UK. We are enormously grateful for their generosity and support. This is the first all electric Variety coach in the Midlands, and we're thrilled that Reynalds Cross was chosen as its recipient. We're looking forward to many miles of exciting adventures ahead!
