Learner Records Service Privacy Notice

Achievement in the 14-19 is accredited through a range of entry one, two and three qualifications. The awarding body we use is ASDAN and we currently offer Personal Progress, Employability and Personal and Social Development. Work is undertaken in units which are linked to the 14-19 curriculum subject areas. Completing these allow us to celebrate pupil achievement, gives pupils the same experience as their mainstream peers, ensures future placements are aware of what pupils can achieve and gives us opportunities to compare, moderate and validate completed work.

During this time our students are registered for a Unique Learner Number (ULN) which sets up their own Personal Learning Record (PLR). The PLR is an online lifelong record of achievements which can be updated with future qualifications gained at colleges, universities or with employers.  PLRs are administered by the Learning Records Service (LRS) part of Education and Skills Funding Agency, an executive agency of the Department for Education (DfE). LRS privacy notice included below can be viewed by students or parents/carers.
