Comets Class have been learning about measurement in which they have been focusing on big and small. The pupils worked brilliantly to catch fish using fishing rods and then decided whether they were big or small.
KS4 students at Satellite have enjoyed experimenting for Science week. They chose to do the "Fruity sweets" and "Make a Volcano" experiments and were able to gather resources, follow instructions and complete the experiments in their groups.
Let's Enable visited Saturn Class today to teach students how to care for ponies and take part in a My Community project. The pupils have enjoyed meeting the ponies and improved their communication skills by requesting items. This part of Our Community, focusing on environmental care by creating a safe space for the ponies. It was an exciting opportunity, with future lessons planned to enhance the pupils experience.
Neptune class takes time every day to read for pleasure. We have access to many different books, newspapers, magazines, and fact files. We read with our teachers and friends. In our My Communication - reading lessons, we have been looking at a newspaper article called "The Bear Who Came to Babysit." We've been thinking about the different types of writing you can find in an article, such as the headline and "what happened?" We enjoy reading throughout the day, and our teachers read a story to us every afternoon before we go home.
